Clarity + Opportunity= Money

Coming Up With Ideas Is The Easy Part!

Turning Ideas Into Money Takes A Little More Strategy.

Happy New Year! The first month of the year just flew right by me. I hope you are enjoying your 2015 so far. I want to share something I learned in 2014 with you. I learned that being prepared for the life and success you want is the ONLY thing that matters. If you put in all of this work to get in front of the right people or be presented with the perfect opportunity, would you really know your next step? Would you know your end game? Would you know HOW to close the deal?

In 2014 I learned that deals are won and lost in the details. As an entrepreneur and an attorney, I have had my fair share of wins and losses. What I know for sure is that the moment I am clear on what exactly I seek to accomplish by being involved in a given transaction, magic happens. It’s the funniest thing. I don’t even have to know HOW I’m going to accomplish the goal. I just need to be 100% clear on what exactly I’m intending to do. Before learning this about myself, I’d run all over New York City trying to “make it happen” without even having a clear picture of what success looked like for me. Now, I don’t move forward unless I’m crystal clear on what I want. Only then will I begin to make phone calls, put business plans together, set up meetings, etc because my clarity makes it worth the effort.

So, in closing, I’d like to challenge you on this Friday evening as you start your weekend. Get clear! You have a new idea you’re planning to roll out this year? Get clear. What do you want the end result to be? If it’s all about the money- no judgment. How much do you want? Even better than that- how much value are you prepared to GIVE in order to get what you want?

Happy Friday! I hope you have a wonderful weekend of CLARITY!
