**7-13-14 Update Below**
This is a working post, so pull out a pen and paper or your Evernote app.
In preparation for your next prospect meeting or pitch:
1. Make a list of 7-10 things you know about your prospect.
2. Make a list of all the benefits of buying from you.
3. Go to a client or customer, and ask them why they buy from you.
If you struggle with answering any if these three questions, you may not be tuned in to the entrepreneur’s favorite radio station- WIIFM. Turn it on today and commit to listening all day.

The point of Question 1. above in this exercise was for you to be clear on who your target market is and what they care about. Another GREAT way for you to find out more about your target market if you are targeting high profile people or celebrities is to choose a celebrity, google their name, and next to their name put “Interview”. Lots of interviews will come up where they are doing what? Sharing! Talking! Venting! Explaining!
Be a sponge, soak it all up, then go back to Question 1 above and and see if you don’t have a better sense of what your target market cares about.
